Trip Notes

  1. Airport / hotel transfers are available only under private trip bookings by default. It is also available for fixed departure bookings, but only as add-ons.
  2. Hotel details, names and other specific trip details will be provided by the Red Carpet representative (s) post-booking.
  3. The starting point of this trip is Kathmandu. For private trip bookings, trip will start from your hotel in Kathmandu, and there are no alternatives for this.If you book a fixed departure for this trip and would like to join the group elsewhere from the starting point, you will need to consult with the reservation team.
  4. For fixed departure groups, pre-trip briefing and orientation session will be held at the designated hotel in Kathmaduat 7 PM, so please try and schedule your flight accordingly, or you might miss out on the pre-trip briefing.
  5. Due to the high altitudes involved in this trek (max altitude of 4130 meters above sea level), travellers will be asked to sign a self assessment form while in Kathmandu, and show a valid proof of their travel insurance.
  6. The destinations in this itinerary are highly susceptible to unpredictable weather and sometimes even natural calamities, and might disrupt the standard itinerary. In such cases, the trip captain maintains the right to devise an alternate itinerary to ensure that you end the trip end on time.
  7. Trips generally involve sharing a room (twin or triple sharing depending on the group size) with a fellow traveler. Options to have your own (single) rooms will be provided as add-ons upon checkout. You will avail a single room by default if you are a solo traveler and book a private trip. Please note that due to less lodges and more tourists, you may have to share rooms with other people in tea houses during your trek, especially in peak season (March – April, September to October)
  8. Flights may be delayed due to weather conditions, so it is a wise decision to pre-plan for a couple of extra days in Kathmandu as a buffer against the unpredictability of nature.
  9. The minimum age for participation in this trip is 15 years. Participants below the age of 18 should be accompanied by their parent / guardian.
  10. Please ensure that you have an emergency fund of USD 300 in cash with you on this trip, which you may need to use in cases of delayed or cancelled flights, or for other unforeseen circumstances.
  11. Please note that despite all efforts to take this trip on a smooth and easily doable level, you might encounter health problems at high altitude due to your medical condition or otherwise. In such cases, the trip captain may take decisions that might prevent you from proceeding further based on your health conditions.
