Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp(ABC)
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek takes you into the heart of the Himalayas from start of hike. With so many Majestic snow-capped mountains on show, it is no surprise more than a week-long hike is high on many people’s itineraries. Whether traveling for a short time or with older children, ABC trek package is designed for everyone: the scenery is incredible, the culture is engaging, comfortable accommodations, and the walking is not too strenuous.
From ABC and Machhapucchre Base Camp, the views of Himalayan ranges are incredible Machhapucchre (better known as Fish Tail), Mount Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, and Annapurna III, among others. From Annapurna sanctuary trekking trail, trekkers will see a 360-degree panorama and a near-vertical view of the south face of Annapurna towering above.
ABC trekking trail passes through exciting small beautiful villages with scenic background views of the Himalayas range and terraced farmland, giving an insight into how the locals of this area live. It also winds through rhododendron forests, passes over glacier rivers and waterfalls, and allows spectacular views of sheer cliffs with rivers running below.
And, of course, Himalayas provide an awe-inspiring backdrop! With the highest altitude being 4,130m at Annapurna Base Camp and a steady but gentle increase in altitude in the days preceding, there is little likelihood of altitude-related problems. This is also an almost all-year-round route that fits into most visitors’ Nepal schedules.
