Terms & Conditions

  1. Bookings

All bookings, except hotel and flight bookings, are made with Red Carpet Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd (REGD 88241/068/069). By booking with us, you agree to and have no objections towards the terms mentioned below.


  1. Validity

All our trips; dates, itineraries & prices are valid till 31st December 2017 only. The trips and all aspects are indicative only after 31st December 2017.


  1. Reservation

You can reserve a fixed departure trip (Red Carpet Journey: The Classics) for a maximum of 7 days. This is useful if you do not want the trip at a certain date to be overbooked while you make up your decision.

You can reserve if (A) You haven’t booked a trip you want to reserve, (B) The 5 day reservation period is at least 60 days before the commencement of the trip.

Reservation is completely free. However, you’ll need to provide us your personal details (name, phone, place of residence, email address). You can cancel your reservation anytime within 7 days.

Reservation is not mandatory. If you are of a mind, you can directly place a booking.


  1. Deposit & Confirmation

You are required to pay a minimum 25% of your total trip cost to confirm the booking. Once we receive the amount, we’ll issue a confirmation invoice. The invoice is proof that you’ve paid the deposit, and also indicates the due amount. The balance payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the trip. Once the payment is settled, we’ll issue a trip voucher. The voucher is a contract between us, which will terminate at the end of the trip. The voucher is proof that you’ve paid in full for the trip, and that the trip will be conducted as outlined in the voucher and as detailed in the dossier.

You also have an option to pay in full at the time of booking. Paying in full will earn you a Red Carpet gift-pack on arrival.

If you are booking with less than 30 days before the commencement of the trip, you are required to pay in full. No gift-pack included.


  1. Payment

For payment, the standard and the recommended method is paying through the in-built payment gateway on the website itself. Gateway is accessible during check-out, where the credit / debit card details will have to be given.

Terms & Conditions for bank transfer will depend on your region and country. Please consult your bank for details.

Payment verification will require 3-4 working days. We’ll only send you the invoice / voucher after verification.


  1. Prices & Surcharges

Due to the seasonal nature of the travel industry, the prices are subject to variable and season costing. We are a Destination Management Company (DMC), and we compile various aspects like food, accommodation, transport, guides etc for a complete trip. If any one of the suppliers increases his price, this’ll incur surcharges on the trip costs. Increases in costs will vary on demand, market conditions, peak season, availability etc.

You book through us understanding that your trip amount is subject to seasonal surcharges, of which we’ll notify you as early as possible.

The prices we offer are not always the same throughout the year, and the prices on the website may also vary from time to time. Your price will be locked to what the price was during the time of your booking, which is subject to variable costing.

Prices are also different depending on the place / country / area of your residence. People from SAARC member nations (Nepal, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan) can avail the same packages at a lower cost. Market specific costing is a standard practice in the industry.


  1. Your Details

For the confirmation of the trip, you must submit to us your details. Details may include your full name, passport number & issued / expiry dates, address, and information on any pre-existing medical conditions.


  1. Cancellation & Refund

You reserve the right to cancel any trip that you have booked. Confirmation of the cancellation must be in written and mailed to us, alongside your unique booking number and invoice or voucher number. Cancellation charges will apply if you cancel a confirmed trip.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 30 or days or more prior to the start date: We retain the deposit OR If you paid in full at the time of booking, we will charge 25% of the total amount

Cancellation 29 – 15 days prior to the start date: We retain 50% of the total amount

Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the start date: We retain the entire amount


Forced cancellation due to unprecedented incidents like visa issues, deportation, delay or cancellation of international flights and travel insurance issues will be fully subject to the cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to cancel any trip 30 days prior to the start if we fill that the integrity or objective of any trip is in question. If we cancel your trip due to this reason, you’ll receive a full refund of the booking amount. You can also ask for the booking to be transferred to a later date. Or you can request a different trip at the same date, balance costs to be settled on arrival.

We also reserve the right to cancel any trip before departure if the reason is political unrest, rioting, terrorism, natural disasters or other external events not in our control. In such case, we refund the costs, minus any irrecoverable costs.
